This week's "lucky" winner... bacon fried Oreos!!
Is this a sign of the apocalypse? Bacon fried Oreos are a creation of the food blogger at Oh, Bite It!, which specializes in "ooey gooey treats". WHS reader Helen North passed this along to me.
This has got to be the most calorie-dense, fat and sugar-laden food I've ever featured here on Food Reward Friday. Did Paula Deen have something to do with this?

Yes! And blech!
You could have pretty much featured any menu item from that site. Noted the "Peeps and Nutella Shortbread S'mores" as one other tasty option.

How is this still considered food?
A good way to ruin tasty bacon!
For your consideration for a future FRF: Mini Pop-Tart cereal. Sometimes home cooking is not the answer ;).
I love bacon, and I used to eat entire boxes of Newman-O's in one sitting, but that pic of bacon fried Oreos made me queasy.
Hi Beth,
Good one!!
wow...
From day to day, the amount of fat you eat will vary. Some meals and some days will be higher in fat than others. Even high fat meals can be kept in line with healthy eating as long as you balance those days accordingly. The average fat intake over the course of weeks and months is important, not the fat intake of every meal and food you consume
The ohbiteit website looks like a testing ground for the next products to appear on fast food restaurant menus and snack foods in supermarkets. Some of the products that the food industry concocts appear as if they materialized from emails from those who were pregnant and describing their cravings.
In 2007 Domino's Pizza introduced an Oreo pizza dessert which was a pizza crust topped with Oreo. The product was a flop. It's been described as frosting on cardboard. Search Domino Pizza Oreo Dessert on youtube. There's a video of it.
Then there is the KFC Double Down which is bacon and cheese sandwiched between two slabs of fried chicken. Some in the low-carb circles take delight in knowing that it doesn't have a bun. A Wiki article states: "Following the launch of Zinger Double Down in Korea, the overall sales for KFC Korea increased by 20%."
