I've received several comments that my blog posts are no longer showing up in peoples' RSS feeds. I've gone into my settings, and the blog is still set to full feed mode, so I don't know why that would be. I'm trying to understand if the problem is widespread or only affects a few people. Please let me know in the comments section if new posts (since the potatoes and human health series) are not showing up in your reader. Also, please let me know if new posts are showing up. Thanks!
Your previous post didn't show up in my RSS reader. This one did. So I suppose things are working again.
ReplyDeleteIf the 20 potatoes interview was your last post, then I've had no interruption in my view of your RSS feed.
ReplyDeleteThe potatoes post did not show up in my reader.
ReplyDeleteI've gotten them all.

ReplyDeleteNo problem here, subscribing using Sharp Reader.
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning this as I missed "Interview with Chris Voigt of 20 Potatoes a Day" by RSS. "Trouble with RSS Feed" came through fine. It looks like it just skipped one post.
ReplyDeleteI'm using Google Reader.
Looking at your RSS feed, all the posts are there now, so there was either a temporary problem, or there is a problem with certain RSS aggregators.
I got this post but not the 12/16 post. Using Google Reader
ReplyDeleteI saw this post in my RSS news reader (SharpReader). The previous post I saw was from December 16.
ReplyDeleteDidn't get the 20 potatoes post, but did get this one.
ReplyDeleteHave gotten your posts regularly in my RSS feed reader. Using Google Reader.
ReplyDeleteI use Yahoo and the last post showing there is Potatoes and Human Health, Part II.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just something with Yahoo, since it happens to some other blogs I follow too.
I didn't get the previous post, but this one showed up. Probably a one-time glitch.
ReplyDeleteSaw this post in my feed, but didn't see the potatoes post. I use Google Reader.
ReplyDeleteI din't get the potato feed but did get this one about RSS trouble...last feed before that was from Dec. 11th....
ReplyDeleteWhen are you getting a Twitter?? Or a FB fan page :)
ReplyDeleteI use Google reader to read your and other blog posts and I never had any issues with receiving any of your posts.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Venkat

ReplyDeleteI've got it on my page, loud and clear! Love your blog. Thanks for sharing your info!
ReplyDeleteI've never gotten your posts to show up on my Google Reader home page. It shows up under the list of subscriptions, but I have to click on it there to see if there is anything new. I have a few subscriptions that don't show up that way. Anyone know why?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback everyone. It sounds like there has been a lot of variability, but most people got everything except the Chris Voigt interview.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm just going to let it slide for now and see if the issue resolves itself.
I've received all of them.
ReplyDeleteI JUST realized I missed a bunch. I use Google Reader. Your posts always showed up until just recently.
ReplyDeleteI think the problem is with myyahoo. I haven't recieved yours and a few others including Paul's (perfecthealthdiet.com) for a while.
ReplyDeleteUsing Google Reader. Before this one the last posts I see are from Dec 11th (Tooth decay), Dec 5th (interview with Kitavan) and dec 2nd (diet-heart controlled trials). After this one I see three. One from the 19th (Potato Diet Interpretation) 20th (Dairy Fat and diabetes) and the 22nd (gluten-free January).
ReplyDeleteSometimes dropping a feed a re-adding it to the reader helps for some reason.
Just dawned on me that your feed had dropped completely out of my Google Reader (I have no idea why). Anyway, re-added you, and all seems to be well now.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly I was following a very similar diet and now I am on the 30th day of it. The only difference is I even do not use any fat at all. Just baked or roasted potatoe with some vitamin&mineral supplements.
ReplyDeleteI feel the best period of my life ever. I regularly go to Gym and 3-4 days a week I do 400-500 calorie exercise plus working regularly in a factory management.
I never felt better. I do not use lbs but I lost a 9 kg. in a month.
I think to continoue more or less 60 days.
